Anita Gurbaxani

As far back as she can recollect, Anita Gurbaxani has been passionate about colours, drawing and form. In her paintings she adeptly illustrates the use of a palette knife to paint in bold colours in the Impasto style. Indian mythology and the essence of Indian life particularly the Indian woman in her many moods, have been the muse of her creations. “She draws inspiration from life and reality which is abundantly reflected in her works"- Hindustan Times, November 8th, 2003.
