Mind's Journey : A group show of five young painters has been Started from 12th March at Ganges Art Gallery. The Exhibition will continued up to 22nd March 2008. The painters are Sunil Chandra Paul, Khil Bahadur Chhetri, Paromita Chakraborty, Indira Halder and Nantu Behari Das.

Khil Bahadur Chhetri

Born in 1968

Acadamic Qualification:   Ist Class M.F.A. in graphic Art from kala Bhavan  Visva Bharati  Santiniketan, W. Bengal  in  1997.  Ist class B.A. Fine Specialization with Graphic(Print Making Art) from  Govt.  College  of  Art  &  Craft, Santipur. Guwahati, Assam  in 1994, Under Guwahati University.

Sunil Chandra Pal

Born in 1976

Acadamic Qualification:  B. Com, B.F.A. & M.F.A. from Rabindra Bharati University, Kolkata. He is studio trained from eminent sculptor, Sir Sunil Kr. Pal since early age. Currently he is engaged with Roymans’ Art Studio for various art from developments. Received awards in Best water colour Painting, Oil Painting from Indian College of Art Draftsmanship. Till date he has participated over 10 Group Exhibition.

 

Paromita Chakraborty 

Born in 1980.

Acadamic Qualification:    Master of Fine Arts in Painting from Kala Bhavana, Visva - Bharati, Santiniketan, 2005. Class I, Rank 1.Bachelor of Fine Arts with specialisation in Painting from Kala Bhavana, Visva Bharati, Santiniketan, 2003. Class 1, Rank 1.

Born in 1977

Acadamic Qualification: Completed b.v.a (hons) & m.v.a.in sculpture with a first class form rabindra bharati university in the year 2004 & 2006 respectively.
