Chitrakoot Art Gallery presented a solo exhibition of paintings by Murshida Arzu Alpana. The exhibition was started on 25^th March 2008 and  continued up to 4^th April 2008. Her medium was mixed media and oil on canvas. This exhibition was inauguratedby the eminent painter  Jogen Chowdhury.

Murshida Arzu Alpana was born in Dhaka in the year 1961. From 1986-88 she has completed her Master degree in Fine Arts from Visva Bharati University, Shantiniketan. From 1997-98 she has also completed master degree of Experimental painting under the guidance of Prof, Horst Hodicke in Germany. She got so many awards from India and abroad. She also participated various solo and group exhibitions in India and abroad.
