Suman Roy was born in Kolkata in 1968. He belongs to the student of renowned University         of Visva Bharati , Santiniketan.During his study period in the year of 1989 participated with a             group of  exhibition at Birla academy. He completed his course in the year 1992.

Exhibitions

• 1994 ?1^st solo exhibition at Genesis Art gallery in  Kolkata.

                      Participated group show Birla Academy in Mumbai.

                      Renaissance gallery in Banglore.

• 1995 group show at Sankrit Art Gallery (Kolkata), Genesys Art Gallery in   Kolkata

• 1996 ?A camp at book fair organized by guild.

                      Group show in Delhi with tow young contemporary artist.

• 1997- Oberoi art camp organized by Vikram Sethy. 

                     Participated three Harmony show in Mumbai.

• 1998 –A group exhibition in Delhi Sanskrit art gallery, Genesys Art Gallery in Kolkata.

• 1999- Art camp in Rajastan organized by Modi group.

                    A group exhibition at Renesansse art gallery( Bangalore ).

• 2000-2002 - He was busy with his experimental works on painting.

• 2003-2004 - Joined so many group show and art camps in India & Aboard.
